the Tupper Lake Tinman Triathlon June 30th:

Congrats to Kelly Virkler for First Place in Keuka Lake
Sprint
Kelly completed the sprint course, which consisted of a .75 km swim, 22km bike and 5 km run, in an overall 1:19:30. For complete results,

New Member Orientation at Crystal Lake
On June 5th, new members met at Crystal Lake to get a
preview of the Tuesday night summer training course. Pictured
below is club president, John Slyer giving instructions
about the swim course. We look forward to seeing you all
out there this summer!
Club Members Compete in Vermont City Marathon
Pictured below are club members John Slyer and Kelly Vickler competing in the Vermont City Marathon, this past Memorial Day weekend in Burlington.
While the race time temperature was a huge improvement over last year's sweltering heat, those over three hours got a cold soaking, and apparently being chased by a banana,
didn't get John over the finish line to match his impressive showing in the Hudson-Mohawk marathon this past fall, where we give him major kudos for going sub three hours.
Congratulations to John who finished in 3:15 and Kelly who finished in 3:55.
Anyone Can Tri at Southern Saratoga YMCA
The Capital District Triathlon Club banner was prominently
displayed at the Anyone Can Tri held at the southern Saratoga
YMCA on Sunday 5/06/07. The banner was depicted on channel
9 news later in the day.
