2018 AFFILIATED COACHES PROGRAM (Schedule Subject To Change)
Regardless of our athletic ability and our dedication to health and fitness in general, from time to time we all need a little help, support, advice and constructive feedback. So beginning June 5th the CDTC will be offering free Tuesday evening training sessions led by some of the area’s premier training and coaching talent: Judy Torel and Kristen Hislop (triathlon, nutrition, exercise and fitness), Kevin Kearney (swimming) and Andy Ruiz (cycling). Each weeks’ coaching session to begin at around 6:30pm so members still have the opportunity to swim at 6:00pm if they wish.
You will still have the option of either swimming, biking and/or running on your own each Tuesday evening. But now you can also carve out some time to work with that weeks featured coach. Regardless of your particular needs, experience, or skill level, working with a qualified coach will help you get the most out of your training time and effort, and maximize the benefit you get from your membership in the CDTC.

June 12th – Kevin Kearney and Andy Ruiz: Intro to/refresher course on open water swimming and cycling.
June 19th – Tim Bonnier/Tomhannock Bicycles: Introduction to basic bicycle maintenance and repairs.
June 26th – Andy Ruiz: Cycling session for advanced cyclists and Ironman distance race participants.
July 3rd – Open.
July 10th – Kristen Hislop: Women as athletes – answering all your questions.
July 18th – Judy Torel: Nutrition mistakes and guidelines for athletes and triathletes.
July 24th – Gear Swap and product demos.
July 31st – Kristen Hislop: Train fast to go longer
August 7th – Kevin Kearney: Drafting during open water swimming.
August 14th – Open.
August 21st – Judy Torel: At home yoga poses for triathletes looking to stay flexible and avoid injury.
August 28th – CDTC Year-end Bash at The Lakeview Restaurant.
